and Quilting, Too!
Here you'll find selections from Barbara Weiland's pattern line, under the label Jo-Lydia's Attic. Check out her popular patterns for tote bags, travel accessories, and quilts and quilted items too.
As a beginner, I think How to Make a Quilt is a great tool to own. The author thoroughly explains how to get started on making a quilt, and all the ways to finish your project. I enjoyed the tips and techniques that are included. I'm definitely keeping this book handy while I try to become a better quilter. Five stars. Amy C.

LOVE IT! I am not a new quilter by any means, but I still have questions from time to time. This book is a treasure trove of answers! Very helpful and a wonderful size for tucking into bags and suitcases for quilting on the go. Jacqulyne
This is a handy pocket sized book filled with good information about quilting - some things I didn't know even after sewing for more than 60 years. It fits nicely in my purse so I can carry it with me for times that I'm in a waiting room or just have a few minutes to myself. And I always have it with me when I'm able to take a trip to a quilt shop - it's the best reference tool I've found.
This is a great little book for beginner or intermediate level quilters. Easy to read, small in size but full of great information. I teach sewing and will recommend this book for all my students who are interested in quilting. Wonderful resource. A. Ghulon

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for publishing a book on sewing techniques. I have been sewing for close to 20 years, and I have been looking for some extra information on pressing, and techniques in general! I am also a man, and when I first started to sew in the early 90s. I had trouble just getting answers. I had a great teacher, but as time moved-on, I wanted more information.
I have many, many reference books, however, YOURS is the only one that has helped me with some of my questions. And I mean references. I have shelves of them. I like to read, what can I say! And one section in your book helped me immensely with those questions, the one on interfacing.I don't have many issues with it, but there were times when it just wouldn't stick. Your book proved the hint that makes it work!"
